AG ACTIVE PLAY™ / INDIA PROJECT ENQUIRIES

School playground equipment and planning

Shape a school play environment around movement, discovery and everyday use. AG Active Play™ helps schools, nursery teams, architects and contractors structure outdoor playground and indoor play enquiries before equipment and commercial scope are confirmed.

Build a brief around your pupils and school day

Identify the age groups, how the area is supervised and how play fits into the timetable. Describe whether the project supports free play, movement breaks, early-years exploration or a wider mix of activities. Avoid selecting equipment solely from a visual theme or a nominal age label.

A useful brief considers varied confidence levels, sensory preferences and mobility needs. Ask how pupils approach, move through and leave each activity, and where staff can supervise. Inclusive planning needs review with the school and project team; an accessible path alone does not establish an inclusive playground.

Make the site and procurement responsibilities clear

Share a site plan with entrances, boundaries, levels, trees, services and adjoining circulation. Explain whether work must be phased around school use. The responsible professionals should assess the equipment layout, surfacing, drainage, structural interfaces and installation constraints for the actual site.

For procurement, request a comparable scope that separates equipment, foundations, impact-attenuating surfacing, logistics, installation, inspection and handover. Specify who will review the drawings and approve changes, and what documentation is needed before the area can be used.

Plan for care after handover

Maintenance access, routine checks, cleaning and replacement-part identification should be considered during selection. Ask for the relevant manuals and inspection requirements for the chosen configuration. Reporting a maintenance concern is different from confirming that equipment is safe to use.

AG concepts are starting points for discussion, not completed school case studies or approved specifications. Product compliance, supplier appointment, production origin, costs and delivery commitments require project-specific verification.

Questions before you enquire

Can you work from a school’s existing drawing?

Include the drawing and its revision in your enquiry, together with site photographs and project requirements. The next step is scope and technical review, not an automatic manufacturing release.

Do the images show completed AG school projects?

The images on this page are labelled concept visualisations. They do not demonstrate a completed installation or verified performance.
