# AG Manufacturing Observatory — release review

Implementation date: 27 October 2026. Extends the existing AG Active Play India Factory project, preserving the current audience, source references and durable records. The supplied ARIA brief is retained in OBSERVATORY_BRIEF.md. No production data migrations, commercial writes, supplier messages or inventory cutovers were executed.

## Implemented mapping

| Brief | Implementation | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Editorial manufacturing identity | Existing original AG logo, navy/ivory/gold identity, cinematic concept imagery; revised home story and navigation | Implemented; generated scenes remain explicitly labelled |
| Product → material → process → evidence → RFQ | /observatory; 12 material routes; 7 process chapters; quantity and project-reference handoff into existing RFQ | Implemented; route choices are candidate requests, not verified BOMs |
| Searchable material library | /materials with material and application search, group filter, evidence questions and process links | Implemented |
| Manufacturing chapters | /processes with chapter selection, steps, qualification gate and related materials | Implemented; no appointed factory or machine ownership claimed |
| Product passports | Existing product pages and explorer include public JSON download and approved-public document links | Implemented; six product approval gates remain pending |
| India manufacturing proposition | /india-programme with five proposed stages, document gates, planning regions and official approval/planning links | Implemented; land, investment, facilities and incentives unverified |
| Lifecycle | /lifecycle: service type, product, asset/serial and project carried into RFQ | Implemented enquiry; no warranty or service appointment confirmed |
| Evidence and media control | /admin/observatory: revisioned evidence, media-rights records, installed asset inventory, private programme documents | Implemented; administrator step-up required |
| Research and qualification | 41 supplied references (16 design benchmarks, 19 material/process sources, 6 official resources), admin-only search/export and qualification notes | Research register; not an exhaustive global supplier census or approved supplier list |
| Engineering and commerce ownership | Shopify commercial authority, AG PLAYSPACE OS engineering/project authority; current mixed basket and server controls preserved | Existing boundaries retained; external integrations not activated |

## Preservation and exceptions

- Existing AG-C001 and AG-IN001 source identities remain unchanged. Neither concept imagery nor these identifiers establishes technical approval.
- The Kyte Padel Racket still has no verified AG SKU, Shopify product ID or variant ID. AED 50 remains a historical observed retail value, not approved AG pricing. Its source description still requires technical verification. Existing migration/exception records remain the authority for this unresolved record; no new SKU was issued.
- Existing product/page/file identities, RFQ payload storage, customer records, drafts, admin upload/download/trash/restore and portals are retained. New record kinds use the existing revisioned site_records table. No database migration required.
- Research/media/programme records cannot be published through the new API. Public evidence requires a known target, approved review state, public visibility, linked published file, issuer, date, document revision and reviewer. Internal notes and reviewer are excluded from visitor content and passports.
- Private programme documents cannot be published while linked. Public evidence documents cannot be hidden or trashed while referenced. Restore validates file visibility again. Actions are authenticated, origin-checked, revision-checked and audited.
- The programme register accepts nonfinancial diligence categories. Finance permissions and financial-model handling are not provisioned; costs and margins must not be uploaded here.

## Test evidence

- TypeScript check and production Worker build passed.
- 28 Node model/workflow tests passed: admin content validation and password verification; basket preservation; migration exceptions; customer summary field filtering; company/finance guards; webhook HMAC; RFQ validation; finance output filtering; new journey and evidence rules.
- In-memory SQLite storage tests passed: replay uniqueness, identity isolation, audit/outbox deduplication, no approved rates, deny-by-default factory assignments.
- 38 installed asset variants verified: hashes, dimensions, full image decoding, two A4 posters, source references and ZIP CRC/content integrity. Existing image/poster bytes unchanged.
- 88 compiled Worker integration assertions passed. The suite uses isolated D1/R2 and synthetic identities only. It covers authenticated CRUD, uploads and download byte integrity, revision conflicts, recoverable trash, public/private document controls, 41 private references, internal note filtering and all 27 main routes (including two product pages). See tests/admin-worker.test.mjs; the suite can be rerun against the packaged build.
- Desktop browser checks: explorer selection updates material/process links and RFQ URL; quantity 4, AG-C001, candidate rope material, process and project retained in RFQ scope. Material search filters and selection updates evidence questions. Process chapter switching updates image, steps and linked materials. Lifecycle handoff retains asset and project and adds scope alongside the saved browser draft. Per-item project/asset context is retained in the RFQ schema and customer summary. Header collision found and corrected during visual QA.

Limitations: browser preview has no authenticated owner session, so hosted admin UI acceptance and real provider/webhook tests are not claimed. Responsive CSS is implemented; dedicated mobile/device, screen-reader and performance benchmark testing remains unverified. The /components browser route was previously policy-blocked; its rendering is tested only inside the isolated Worker. Documentary evidence, global supplier qualification and India domain connection remain pending. No paid image generation was used in this release.
